Bear Creek & Kelly Ranch
Kelly Ranch lies northeast of central Cresson, on the northwest side of US 377. Bear Creek appears in the Bluejack Ranch conceptual master plan. This is distinct from the southwest direction toward Granbury.
Annetta South
A separate Parker County community along FM 5, Annetta South emphasizes its rural, low-density character. Its city website identifies water service through the Town of Annetta system.
Whiskey Flats
The locally known Whiskey Flats area is around US 377 and FM 1187. Tarrant County ESD1's October 2025 announcement identifies a planned fire/EMS station at Bella Creek Parkway and US 377. A new station announcement is not confirmation that it is open.
Southwest toward Granbury
US 377 continues through the wider Hood County area toward Granbury, where a separate highway improvement phase is programmed.
