October 19 water-agency update

The water-planning guide and The Cresson’s water report previously left Cresson’s final vote and appointments unconfirmed. Signed September 22 council minutes reviewed October 19 confirm approval of Resolution 2026-R002 by 4–0 and a separate 4–0 vote appointing Mayor Ron Becker as director and Mayor Pro Tem Lisa Clement as alternate to the Parker County Public Utility Agency.

The decision date is September 22, 2026. This update does not establish formation by all required participants, the full executed resolution’s terms, water delivery, projects or customer fees. Cresson signed council minutes, September 22, 2026, page 2, items B–C.

October 12 calendar refresh

The October calendar adds organizer-verified Doss programs, the Granbury merchant trick-or-treat outing and The Driver’s Edge October 31 track day. The current district listing moves GISD band community night to October 26, 6–8 p.m., replacing the earlier October 12 date. NASA beginner HPDE1 is listed full with a waitlist as of October 12; free spectator entry and waiver arrangements remain listed.

The November month view adds dated track events, the First Monday continuation and school-district schedules. School and government entries remain limited to Granbury ISD, Aledo ISD and City of Cresson. Source links, access costs and stated gaps appear with the entries. The supplied Historic Cresson School November 7 flyer remains attributed and independently unconfirmed.

October 12 regional update

New guide records cover water planning and financing, regional development status, Cresson services and school planning. Sources and dated limits appear beside each record. The Cresson carries the accompanying reporting.

The new guide separates organizational votes, financing approvals and operating projects. School enrollment remains a district snapshot, with the report’s original date. Litigation reporting attributes allegations and identifies missing later court records.

Cresson Crossroads is free to readers and sponsored by TriTex Building Systems, LLC. It is independent of City government, utilities and developers. Publisher social links belong to TriTex. Sponsor copy is labeled; no reporting partnership with a developer, track or film studio is implied.

Dates and evidence

New October features use primary sources checked October 1, 2026. The September stories retain their September 28 source-review dates. Population figures are Census estimates for July 2025. The ten-year population exercise is an illustrative scenario ending in July 2035. Developer buildout numbers and opening targets are attributed, not guaranteed.

Still open

Schoolhouse festival confirmation, Bluejack’s actual opening and completion of dated development phases remain unresolved. The October 12 calendar review confirmed the Driver’s Edge October 31 listing and retrieved the current City of Cresson calendar. The calendar retains the stated registration, spectator-access and agenda limits. Historical and MotorSport Ranch photograph credits remain visible; permission for public reuse remains unresolved.

Corrections

Before publication, the Doss Halloween date was checked against its detail page and set to October 29. Substantive corrections will identify the article, changed claim, reason and date.
