LIFE AT THE TRACK

MotorSport Ranch: October 24 course change and November dates.

APEX shifts to the 3.1-mile layout; The Driver’s Edge follows October 31. SCCA lists free spectator opportunities in November.

MotorSport Ranch’s next publicized driver event comes with a course change. APEX HPDE by GSPEED is scheduled Saturday, October 24 on the Cresson facility’s 3.1-mile course, replacing the 1.7-mile layout originally advertised. The organizer says the date and prices stay the same.

Posted driver fees are $275 for novice and intermediate groups and $265 for advanced drivers. Classroom work and coached track sessions are part of the program. Drivers must meet the organizer’s license, age, helmet and vehicle requirements; the linked sample timetable should not be treated as the final schedule. APEX event details.

On Halloween, The Driver’s Edge lists a one-day school on the 1.7-mile counterclockwise course. Its October 31 organizer window runs 6:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with the track scheduled to go cold about 5 p.m. Run groups depend on experience and organizer approval. Driving is paid; the checked listing does not establish general spectator admission. October 31 driver-school information.

November offers a way to watch

SCCA’s November 3 Track Night uses the 3.1-mile counterclockwise layout. The organizer lists spectating and paced track tours as free. Driving sessions require registration: $175 for members, plus a $25 weekend membership for nonmembers. This event starts earlier than usual; check the organizer’s current arrival schedule. November 3 details.

Texas Region SCCA follows November 14 with time trials, track-day and novice instruction on 3.1 miles. Spectators may attend without paying or registering, but must sign the waiver. Minors need the minor waiver and a parent or legal guardian present throughout. Driver qualification and entry fees are separate. November 14 details.

Farther ahead, The Driver’s Edge lists November 21–22 on 3.1 miles; APEX lists November 28 on 1.7 clockwise. Check each organizer’s current schedule and access rules before traveling. NASA Texas’s October 16–18 scheduled dates have passed; no final 2026 race or time-trial result was verified for this edition.
