Whiskey Flats

A familiar name on the 377 corridor.

Whiskey Flats belongs in the wider local picture. Tarrant County Emergency Services District No. 1 identifies it as the area around the disjointed US 377 / FM 1187 junction.

In October 2025, the district announced a fire and EMS station site at Bella Creek Parkway and US 377, describing a need to improve service in this growing unincorporated area.

FM 1187 planning is another story to follow. TxDOT's published public-meeting records include discussion of the Whiskey Flats junction and connections toward Aledo and Crowley.

The station's opening and a firm highway-construction timetable were not verified as of September 28, 2026. An announcement is not the same as a completed project.
